Bonify Medical Cannabis can no longer sell medical or recreational cannabis after Health Canada alleges it violated terms of the Cannabis Act.
The announcement came on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, from the national regulator.
According to Health Canada, Bonify had sourced and sold cannabis from what is described as an illegal source.
Health Canada has not only suspended the sales license of the company but they have also referred the case to the RCMP and to the CRA.
The agency says that they will continue to monitor the process taken by the company to fix the issue.
Bonify has ten days to respond to the regulator about the suspension if they disagree with the reasons for it.
