Brandon Police spent several hours wondering where the beef was after a cow escaped the stockyards and began wandering throughout the community on Thursday afternoon, October 6, 2020.
Reports came in as the bovine wandered near Victoria Avenue East. At one point a 72-year-old woman was knocked down by the animal after it charged at her near Victoria Avenue and 1st Street. The victim was transported to hospital with undermined injuries say police.
