RCMP say that on Sunday, December 16, 2018, they responded to a call in Portage la Prairie after three robbers walked out of a Sissons Drive store with two shopping carts full of stolen items.
The loss prevention officer at the store had tried to stop them and was struck by the getaway vehicle.
The 26-year-old male driver was arrested later Sunday night after police located the suspect vehicle.
Officers were able to identify the other two suspects and arrested them at a residence.
Cyril David Beaulieu, 26 from Brandon, Troy Brendan Beaulieu, 28 from Dakota Tipi First Nation and Holly Janine Mousseau, 29 from Portage la Prairie all face charges for their alleged involvement of Robbery with a Weapon, Theft, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. Both male suspects face additional charges related to the incident.
All three were remanded in custody
The investigation is continuing.
