Bokhari Quits
Rana Bokhari is stepping down as Manitoba Liberal leader. She issued a statement Saturday evening that said she had informed the Liberal Executive of her decision to not lead the party into the next election.
Bokhari lost her bid for a seat in Fort Rouge to Wab Kinew (NDP).
Bokhari will remain leader until a replacement is found then she will return to private practice as a lawyer.
