RCMP in The Pas say that the body of a man missing since January of this year was located on May 27, 2021.
Police say they received a report around 8:15 am that day that the remains had been located off Centennial Drive in the community.
Investigators say that the deceased has been identified as Barry Brytus and that his death does not appear to be suspicious.
54-year-old Brytus had not been since sometime in the late fall of 2020 and when officers went to his home after he was reported missing they found mail piled up at the door and no signs anyone had been there recently.
RCMP continue with the investigation.
