RCMP say that the body of missing 19-year-old Gwyneth Gegenfurtner was recovered on Friday, October 23, 2020, from the Churchill River near Leaf Rapids.
Gegenfurtner was last seen on Sunday, October 11, 2020, around Mikinak Bay in Leaf Rapids.
A missing person report was filed the next day and police asked for help from the public in finding her.
