RCMP confirmed the identity of the body found on the shore of Lake Winnipegosis in early June as Corey Chartrand, 37.
Chartrand had gone missing from Sapotaweyak Cree Nation on April 30,2016.
Police are continuing to investigate the events surrounding the death od Chartrand but they do not consider it suspicious at this time.
