Winnipeg Police Service is investigating an incident that happened Sunday morning on William Avenue near Harriet Street.

Area residents tell News 4 that a male was stabbed in the 400 block of William Avenue.
Blood could be seen on the steps of an apartment building and the roadway in front of the building as well as on the sidewalk in front of the property next door.
Police cordoned off the area while forensics processed the scene.
