Winnipeg Police have caught up to a wanted criminal and placed her behind bars.
Lanessa Moskotaywenene an 18-year-old female was wanted by police in connection with the homicide of 22-year-old Angel Sandine Beaulieu. Beaulieu was assaulted in a home in the 400 block of Furby Street on January 18, 2018. She died in hospital on January 21, 2108.
On two occasions police requested help from the public for any information on the location of Moskotaywenene.
On Friday, February 9, 2018, officers recognized the suspect in the 200 block of Dufferin Avenue and placed her in custody.
She has been charged for her alleged involvement with Manslaughter and Aggravated Assault for an attack on a second adult female.
Moskotaywenene was detained in custody.
