Winnipeg’s Bear Clan Patrol is being praised by police for finding and turning in 5.87 grams of methamphetamine that they found while patrolling the Lord Selkirk area Friday night, October 19, 2018.
Police took to social media thanking the volunteer group on Saturday afternoon ” Thanks again for all the work you do!”.
A shout-out to the @bearclanmb. Patrolling volunteers found a significant quantity of methamphetamine yesterday in the Lord Selkirk area yesterday and turned it over to our officers. Thanks again for all the work you do!

The meth has a street value of around $600 but the Bear Clan says they are happy they were able to take it off the street so that it won’t be consumed.
