BC investigation leads Winnipeg Police to child pornographer

Winnipeg police have arrested a 53-year-old Winnipeg man on child pornography charges.

Police say that in June 2016 they began an investigation after the British Columbia Integrated Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) began an undercover online investigation. The investigation led police to a suspect in the Charleswood area of Winnipeg.

On September 18, 2017, members of Winnipeg’s ICE unit arrested Jeffery Douglas McBride for his alleged involvement and have charged him with, Make Child Pornography, Possess Child Pornography and Distribute, Make Available Child Pornography.
