Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) is looking for help in locating a suspect wanted in connection to a 2021, Furby Street attempted murder.
Police say the incident happened on November 21. Two men aged 35 and 29, had been shot and sustained life-threatening injuries.
Investigators with the WPS Major Crimes Unit identified the suspect as 28-year-old Yusuf Abdulqadlr Ali and after consultation with the Manitoba Prosecution Service, two counts of Attempted Murder and multiple firearm-related charges were authorized.
Efforts to find Ali have been unsuccessful and investigators are asking anyone who knows where Ali may be hiding to call 911, Major Crimes investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-8477.
Ali is described as a black male, 6’3” in height, weighs approximately 235 lbs., and has a medium build.
He is considered armed and dangerous and is not to be approached.
