Winnipeg Police have arrested and charged a 33-year-old male suspect in connection to the serious assault on a little boy on Wednesday, October 30, 2019.
Police say that the boyfriend had been with the child’s mother at a Main Street address when he allegedly assaulted her. He then went to the home on Prichard Avenue and brutally attacked the 3-year-old child.
When officers arrived they found the child suffering from stab wounds to the upper body and initiated emergency first aid. The child was taken to hospital in critical condition and remains in grave condition according to police.
Daniel Jensen from Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with:
– Attempt to Commit Murder
– Assault Cause Bodily Harm
– Fail to Comply Condition Recognizance by Judge/Justice (x6)
– Fail to Comply with Probation Order
He was detained in custody.
