Winnipeg Police on on the lookout for two males in connection to an attempted abduction of a 10-year-old girl on Wednesday afternoon, September 11, 2019.
It happened near Kildare Avenue East and Wayota Street in Transcona just before 12:30 pm. Police say the girl was approached by two males who grabbed her and tried to force her into a nearby vehicle.
Investigators are looking for a black male around the age of 16. He is described as tall with an average build and was wearing a red or maroon sweater with a stripe. The other suspect is described as an Indigenous or possibly black male
The vehicle is described as either black or blue in colour and was an SUV or truck.
Police continue to investigate.
