Police released video leading up to the attack and pictures of the suspect in hopes of capturing him as soon as possible.

“We need to get this person identified as soon as possible and have them removed from the streets,” said Winnipeg Police Public Information Officer  Tammy Skrabek on Wednesday. She said she believes that the attacker is “more dangerous than anybody else out there.”

Police also said that the victim and suspect did not know each other and that evidence shows the suspect calmly waited until others in the  bus shelter had left before he launched his attack
