Male suffers stab wound trying to prevent assault

Just after midnight on November 4, 2018, a man was waiting for a bus at Graham Avenue and Edmonton Street when another man came up to him yelling and swearing. The suspect then pulled a knife and put it against the victim’s throat and proceeded to rob him of his cell phone and wallet. The suspect then took off getting on a bus a few minutes later.
While on the bus the suspect once again began yelling a swearing at another man threating to stab him. The victim in the bus began to leave but the suspect covered his face in an attempt to disguise himself and tried to follow but he was stopped by two male witnesses. A struggle happened and one of the men was stabbed in the lower body. Police arrived and took the suspect into custody.
