Around 4:30 am Wednesday morning police found a woman in the 200 block of Waterfront drive in the area around Carnaval restaurant. The woman had been assaulted and was in need of medical attention. She was transported to hospital in stable condition.
Members of the WPS K-9 unit tracked and arrested the alleged male suspect aged 35
He has been charged with
- Aggravated Assault
- Possession of a Weapon x 2
- Carry Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition x 2
- Mischief Under $5000.00
He remains in custody.
