Three men in custody after woman stabbed and robbed Friday night

Winnipeg Police have arrested three male suspects after a 27-year-old female was stabbed multiple times and robbed late Friday night.

Investigators say that the woman was walking in the back lane between of McGee Street and Maryland Street when she was approached by three males. The suspects demanded she had over her property then stabbed her several times in the upper body. She was then pushed to the ground and assaulted again. The suspect then took her property and took off.

The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition but has been upgraded to stable but guarded condition.

Early November 11, 2018, the three suspects were located by police in the 500 block of Sherbrook Street and arrested

Daniel Joey Bouchie, 20, Shaun William Joseph Cook, 19 and John Henry Sinclair, 19 are all facing charges for robbery, aggravated assault and weapon possession for their alleged involvement.

All three accused have been remanded in custody.
