Winnipeg Police got the call around 1:30am Friday September 23, 2016 about two people who had been assaulted on Ellice Avenue.
When they arrived in the 300 block they found a 42 year old male with serious upper body injuries. He was transported to hospital in critical condition. They also found an injured 39 year old female who also required treatment.
Police identified and apprehended a 32 year old male leaving the area on a bike. He has been charged for his alleged assault on the female victim
Police are continuing to investigate the serious assault on the 42 year old male victim.
