A 34 year old man was stabbed on Tuesday November 1, 2016 just after 7:30 am
It happened on the 700 block of Duffrin Avenue when a group of people were socializing together. An argument happened followed shortly by a physical fight involving two men. It is during this fight that the suspect allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed a 34 year old man in the lower body and leaving him with critical injuries.
Emergency personnel were called and the victim was taken to hospital in critical condition. He has since been upgraded to stable.
Police investigated and have arrested Jordan Owen, 22. He has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Weapon, and Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Recognizance.
He was remanded into custody.
