Police are on scene of a serious assault this morning where one man was taken to hospital in critical condition.
It began in the early hours of Friday October 14, 2016, police responded to a call around 2:30am to the 300 block of Maryland Street for a report of an injured male.
It appeared to officers that the man had been stabbed.
As police investigated the stabbing they were led to a home in the 300 block of Agnes Street where they found two males who were taken into custody.
A second male sustained upper body injuries. He is in stable condition.
Police continue to investigate and say that charges are pending.
