Man accused of assault on a city bus has been identified and arrested

On Monday Winnipeg Police issued a plea for help from the public in identifying a male suspect who had allegedly punched a victim in the face, breaking several teeth, on a city bus in November.

According to Aisha Walker, the victim of the assault, she was arguing with an intoxicated male who was aggressively harassing another woman on a Winnipeg Transit bus when a second male injected himself into the situation. Walker said that the male then punched her in the face causing serious injuries including a black eye and several broken teeth
