Brandon Police have arrested a 33-year-old beer can throwing man and charged him with assault.
It happened around 5:30 pm on Monday, April 2, 2018, in the 700 block of Rosser Avenue.
Police say that a taxi driver refused to take the man and his dog in his cab and the suspect then threw a beer can hitting the cabbie in the head.
Officers say the suspect was uncooperative with them and he was arrested and charged.
He was held overnight at Brandon Correctional Centre and will appear in court in May.
The driver of the taxi did not require medical attention.
