RCMP are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed the Bloodvein River Lodge on Sunday, December 12, 2021.
The lodge was located on an island south of Bloodvein First Nation and had been closed for the season. Police say that the lodge was only accessible by snowmobile this time of year.
When officers arrived at the lodge they found it fully engulfed in flames. No injuries were reported. The building burned to the ground.
