Police have arrested a 34 year old male, Ante Milas after he allegedly went on a crime spree over the past couple of weeks.

Police say that between October 28 and November 14, 2016 Milas was allegedly involved in 21 separate offences including break, enter and theft. possess proceeds obtained by crime, possess weapon, theft of a motor vehicle and fail to comply with recognizance.

In total, close to $75,000 worth of property was stolen and thousands of dollars worth of damage was done to property during the break-ins.

Police detailed one incident where the accused allegedly attempted to steal an Automated Teller Machine from a credit union on St. Mary’s Road. The attempted theft of the ATM caused about $80,000 in damages alone. 

Mr. Milas was detained in custody.
