Brent Vernon ARKSEY, 27 from Winnipeg has been arrested after he allegedly broke into a number of vehicles in the south end of Winnipeg. 

Police say that during the month of November Arksey would force his way into condo complexes and make his way to the parkades where he would smash windows and windshields then steal items out of vehicles.

Although his haul was only worth around $5000 in total the damage he inflicted on the buildings and vehicles came out to $25,000.

Investigators nabbed Arksey in the same area of town as the break-ins on December 16, 2016.

He has been charged with 7 counts of Break Enter & Commit – Place, Break Enter with Intent, 34 counts of Mischief Under $5,000, 18 counts of Theft under $5,000 and 14 counts of Fail to Comply Condition of Recognizance.

Arksey was remanded in custody.
