Winnipeg Police have arrested a lone male suspect after he broke into 21 businesses across the city over the past month.
From August 10 to September 14, 2016 it is alleged that Clinton Garry Quesnel, 37 from Winnipeg targeted a variety of businesses after they were closed stealing cash and valuables. He would smash a window or door to gain entry.
The resulting break-ins caused $22,450 in damage and more than $16,000 in cash and merchandise were stolen.
On September 15, 2016, search warrants were executed at residences on Selkirk Avenue, Manitoba Avenue and College Avenue.
Quesnel, was located, arrested and charged with the 21 offences associated to break-ins and theft due to his alleged involvement.
He was remanded into custody.
