RCMP in Dauphin got their man.
39 year old Jayson Scott Larry McDougall was allegedly making copies of a Canadian $50.00 bill and trying to pass them off around town.

Police got a report of a bogus bill from a business in the western Manitoba city on December 19, 2016. Investigators were able to identify McDougall after watching a security video from the business . As the investigation continued officers found out that a Dauphin financial institution also had bogus $50.00 bills. All the Bills had the same serial number.

RCMP executed a search warrant on McDougall’s home on December 20, 2016 and seized a computer and the original $50.00 bill.
MCDOUGALL has been charged with making counterfeit money.
Police continue to investigate.
