ARREST | POLICE END CITY WIDE CRIME SPREE, BUST 5 SUSPECTS

Winnipeg Police have put an end to a crime spree that plagued the city this fall

Between September and November of 2016 police were investigating a number of residential break-ins around Winnipeg.

During that time about $240,000.00 worth of property was stolen, including 5 vehicles and a number of credit cards that were used to make purchases at various stores within the city.
   
Investigators with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team executed warrants at a home in the 100 block of Prince Edward Street. Police located and seized several firearms.
   
Rueben Jaymes SINCLAIR, 29  and Maverick Rock WOODHOUSE, 24  have been arrested and charged for their alleged involvement. Some offences they are charged with are Break, Enter & Theft x 16, Fraud Under $5000.00, Use Credit Card, Possess Goods Obtained by Crime, Mischief Under $5000.00, Several weapon/firearm related offences
   
Chelsea DESMARAIS, 19 , Jerilyn CATCHEWAY, 36  and Dora CHARTRAND, 41  have been charged with various property and weapon related offences due to their alleged involvement.

Police have laid a total of 88 property related charges against the accused.   

They have been remanded into custody.
