An 18 year old male has been arrested in the murder of Angela Marie Poorman.
Poorman was stabbed in the area of Selkirk Avenue and Charles Street on December 14, 2014. She was taken to hospital in critical condition and later died of her injuries.
Poorman was 29 at the time of her death.
As the investigation unfolded police determined that Poorman and the suspect met during the early morning hours, an argument ensued and the male allegedly produced a large knife and stabbed Poorman multiple times.
The suspect was arrested on November 28, 2016 and has been charged with 2nd degree murder. His name is being withheld because he was a youth at the time of the offence.
The suspect was remanded into custody
