As News 4 previously told you RCMP from Dauphin were investigating a fatal ATV collision as a suspicious death.

On Thursday September 24, 2020 officers were called to the area near Provincial Road 489 and Provincial Road 271.

When officers arrived they located a deceased 35-year-old male from Pine Creek First Nation and a 39-year-old female suffering non-life threatening injuries.

As the investigation continued officers concluded that the death was the result of foul play. A suspect was identified as 51-year-old Francis Mousseau from Ebb and Flow First Nation.

Mousseau was already in the custody of Manitoba First Nations Police Service on a number of outstanding warrants including Flight from a Police Officer and Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
