Winnipeg Police homicide detectives have arrested a 27-year-old male in connection to the death of Derek Sutton.
Sutton was found suffering serious injuries in the 400 block of Beverley Street early Wednesday morning. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but did not survive.
Police say that they believe a dispute between the victim and the accused escalated and resulted in the victim being assaulted with a weapon.
Justin Patrick Monro has been charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder.
Monro was detained in custody.
