ARREST | FENTANYL DRUG DEALER BUSTED

As News4 told you  On November 20, 2016 about 9:30 pm, Winnipeg Police responded to a home located in the first block of Kinlock Lane for 2 males in medical distress. 

Both men aged 21 and 22 were taken to hospital. The 22 year old died shortly after. The 21 yearly was admitted in critical condition and has now been released. 

Police believe that both men ingested an illicit drug.

On November 22, 2016 police executed a search warrant at the home and found drug paraphernalia, Hydromorphone, Carfentanil and Fentanyl.

 Police executed a second search warrant on November 26, 2016 for a package that was delivered to a resident of the home. The package contained a quantity of Fentanyl.

A 33 year old man, Brian Cheung from Winnipeg, was arrested December 21, 2016 and charged with Import a Scheduled Substance X2, Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking X4, and Possession of a Scheduled Substance for his alleged involvement.
