Armed suspects arrested after home invasion

Three suspects are in custody after they allegedly committed an armed home invasion in the 500 block of Stella Avenue early Wednesday morning, October 14, 2020.

Police say that a male suspect robbed a female at gunpoint and was still armed when members of the Tactical Support Team arrived.

The trio of suspects were taken into custody and officers seized an imitation firearm.

Mary Frances Chartrand, a 38-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged for her alleged involvement with:

– Armed Robbery using a Firearm
– Use of Imitation Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence
– Assault with a Weapon
– Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
– Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order

Nikki Anne Cook, a 31-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged for her alleged involvement with:

– Armed Robbery using a Firearm
– Use of Imitation Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence
– Assault with a Weapon
– Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
– Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order

A 27-year-old male of Winnipeg is facing charges for his alleged involvement of:

– Armed Robbery using a Firearm
– Use of Imitation Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence
– Assault with a Weapon

The female suspects were detained in custody, the male was released on an undertaking.
