A 38 year old male is going to have to quit his habit after police busted him for almost a dozen armed robberies.
It began in January of this year. The suspect would enter convenience stores armed with a knife and confront staff. He would then steal cigarettes before taking off on his bicycle.
Police say he robbed a number of businesses between January 16, 2016 and October 2, 2016.
On October 2, 2016 near midnight, a convenience store located in the 300 block of Henderson Highway was robbed and the suspect fled. A few hours later the suspect was back but this time the store employee recognized the suspect and locked the doors preventing the man from gaining entry.
