Early in the morning od December 21, 2017, an armed robbery took place when a man walked into a gas station on Highway 1 just outside Headingley.
It happened around 1:40 am. The suspect walked into the cashier’s area armed with a machete. He stole an undisclosed amount of cash then fled to a car waiting outside.
Police say that no one was injured in the robbery,
The suspect is described as male, about 5’10” tall with light brown hair. He was wearing a winter coat over a hoodie, blue jeans and a brown scarf.
The getaway vehicle is described as being a small, light-blue, 4-door Chevy.
