Winnipeg Police have arrested a 25-year-old male who was wanted on a number of warrants.
Bryan Scott Wiebe was taken into custody on Friday night, January 26, 2018, after police were tipped off about where he was. Police went to a home on Keenleyside Street and found Wiebe inside.
Police say that Wiebe was wanted for a number of armed robberies between November 2, 2017, and December 9, 2017.
On November 2nd Wiebe, wearing a disguise and armed with a handgun, allegedly robbed two businesses on Main Street making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The next day, again disguised and this time armed with a knife, he allegedly robbed a total of five more businesses on Watt, Talbot, Main, Salter and Munroe. In these robberies, he got away with cigarettes and more cash.
A month later on December 2, 2017 Wiebe allegedly once again donned a disguise and again armed with a handgun robbed two businesses; one on Watt Street the other on Main Street. He again was able to flee with an undisclosed amount of cash.
On December 9, a week since his last robbery, Wiebe allegedly put on his disguise once more armed himself with a handgun and knocked over a business in the 1300 block of Molson Street. He was able to once again get an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police say that Wiebe has been charged with 61 offences including: Resist Peace Officer, eight counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance, five counts of Armed Robbery Using a Firearm, five counts of Use of Firearm During Commission of an Offence, Possession of Firearm, Restricted Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X10, Point Firearm X3, Possess Weapon X10, Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized X3, Disguise with Intent X10
Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime, Robbery x 5
He has been detained in custody.
