Winnipeg Police have arrested a man and a woman after two victims were robbed at gunpoint.
Police say that a 27-year-old male was the victim of an armed robbery after he arranged to meet a person on Henderson Highway interested in purchasing jewelry he had posted for sale online. Just after 7:oo pm on October 29,2018, the victim met with two men and handed over the jewelry. One of the suspects pulled a gun and pointed it at the victim before fleeing with the jewelry.
A week later, in the early morning hours of November 3, 2018 a male was robbed at gunpoint after he had arranged to meet a female on Marion Street through an online app. After the 38-year-old male was inside the residence he was confronted by a male armed with a gun and ordered to leave. The victim was robbed of his money and cell phone.
Police investigated and arrested a male and female on November 22, 2018.
Adam Gustave Daniel Delaronde, 23 from Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with:
- Armed Robbery Using a Restricted Firearm or Prohibited Firearm
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized X2
- Possess Weapon X2
- Pointing a Firearm
- Use of Firearm During Commission of an Indictable Offence X2
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order X3
- Armed Robbery Using a Restricted Firearm of Prohibited Firearm
- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
Laine Fischer, 28 has been charged for her alleged involvement with:
- Armed Robbery Using a Restricted Firearm or Prohibited Firearm
Both suspects were detained in custody.
