A 20-year-old male is in custody after an argument on Sunday evening, November 15, 2021, at River Avenue and Osborne Street escalated between the suspect and a male in his 40s.
Police say that during the fight the male in his 40s was stabbed and suffered serious injuries. The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition but later upgraded to stable.
Police determined that the suspect and victim did not know each other prior to the fight. Bystanders pointed out the suspect when officers arrived on the scene.
Aaron Braiden Joseph Beaupre was charged for his alleged involvement with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
He was detained in custody.
