Antique duelling pistols stolen during a commercial break-in

Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes Unit is investigating a commercial break-in in the 100 block of Meade Street North.

Investigators learned that sometime between June 25 and June 28, 2023, a pair of antique duelling pistols were stolen.

Police say that although the pistols are still functional, they require a musket ball as ammunition. No ammunition was stolen in the break-in.

The stolen guns are Rothe Kilkenny Flintlock duelling pistols (serial numbers: 988.2.6a/988.2.6b). They are appriximately 10.5″ in length , half-stock with horn fore-ends. They have a finger spur on the trigger guards and a single gold barrel band.
