Winnipeg Police have captured an inmate who escaped from Eagle Women’s Healing Lodge on September 16, 2022.
Inmates Christine Goodwin and Hailey Regent walked away from the facility in Winnipeg around 10:30 pm.
Goodwin was serving a sentence of three years and four months for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Scheduled Substance, Failure to Comply with Conditions of Release Order and Failure to Comply with Probation Order.
The Correctional Service of Canada is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
