Altona Police are investigating break-ins to a number of mailboxes inside the Canada Post Building in the community about 115 kilometres south of Winnipeg.
Police say that sometime overnight between Thursday, Dec 27 and Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, five mailboxes were broken into and an attempt to open 11 others was made.
Police are trying to determine what may have been stolen and are talking to the victims.
