Manitoba’s Independent Investigation Unit (IIU) is investigating possible Criminal Code offences by several members of Brandon Police Service (BPS) after allegations came to light on July 5, 2017.

According to the IIU because one of the allegations is obstruct justice an investigation by the IIU in mandatory
