Winnipeg Police have re-arrested a 15-year-old male and upgraded his charges from assault to Second Degree Murder.
On May 26, 2019 17-year-old Dorian Glenn Sanderson died from injuries he suffered after being shot. According to police a group of people were fighting in the 300 block of Alfred Street around 9:20 pm.
Sanderson was taken to hospital in critical condition but later died.
Police arrested a 15-year-old male the same day as the shooting and charged him with assault. further investigation led to his re-arrest
A second 15-year-old male was arrested and charged on June 4, 2019 in connection to the killing. He is also facing a charge of Second Degree Murder.
