A 27-year-old panhandler is facing several charges after an incident just before 3:00 am on Saturday, April 7, 2018.

Police say that a female was driving her vehicle east on Fermor Avenue. When she stopped at Lagimodiere Boulevard for the traffic light she was approached by the suspect who proceeded to use a squeegee on the driver’s side window. The driver indicated several times that she did not want the man to wash the windows but the suspect ignored her and continued.

When the man finished he demanded payment, the driver refused. At this point, the panhandler hit the front windshield several times with the squeegee and the glass shattered.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Ryan Ronald Colomb from The Pas was arrested nearby and was charged for his alleged involvement with Mischief Under $5,000 and Identity Fraud.

He was detained in custody
