Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a structure fire in the 500 block of Academy Road around 1:40 pm on Saturday, July 23, 2022.

Traffic on Academy was closed in both directions between Beaverbrook Street and Lanark Street while crews were on scene.
Although flames were not visible from the street, firefighters focused their attention on a facade above the doorway to one business.
Firefighters were on scene for several hours
No injuries were reported
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
