ADVISORY | SEX OFFENDER RELEASED, LIVING IN WINNIPEG

A convicted sex offender was released into the community Thursday after serving his sentence at Headingley Correctional Institution. He was serving the sentence for three counts of failing to comply with probation and fail to comply with recognizance.

According to the Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit (MIHRSOU)  Fabian Claybren MAYTWAYASHING, 41 years of age, a convicted sex offender is considered a high risk to re-offend in a sexual manner.

MAYTWAYASHING will be subject to the conditions of a 3 year probation order and is expected to live in Winnipeg.

He has a history of sexual, violent and other offences. Although he participated in some treatment programming in the past, MIHRSOU believes MAYTWAYASHING is still considered high risk to re-offend in a sexual manner.  Females of all ages are at risk of sexual violence.

In the past MAYTWAYASHING frequently used social media to identify and contact women who could be potential victims. He is known to use aliases in his activities. Aliases include: James Henry Hildenbrand, Stephane Masters, Fabian Sennie and Fabian Choken.
