Five days after 29-year-old Joshua Robert Jeromiah Hansen was stabbed and killed near Higgins Avenue and Main Street homicide detectives arrested a male suspect.
Craig Armand Norman Ducharme, 34 from Winnipeg, was taken into custody On August 11, 2020 in the first 100 block of Martha Avenue.
Investigators say that prior to the stabbing of Hansen the accused the accused stabbed an adult male over a minor dispute. The victim was treated in hospital and released.

Investigators also arrested a second suspect. The 17-year-old male stabbed an adult female minutes before the attack on Hansen. The victim was treated on hospital for her injuries and released.
Ducharme was charged for his alleged involvement with Manslaughter, Aggravated Assault and Possess Weapon.
The teen was charged for his alleged involvement with Manslaughter, Aggravated Assault, Possess Weapon, two counts of Fail to Comply with Sentence and two counts of Fail to Comply with Conditions of Release Order.
Ducharme and the town were detained in custody.
