Second suspect arrested ​in Jaime Adao killing

Winnipeg Police have arrested a second suspect in the Jaime Adao homicide on March 3, 2019.

Police say that at the time of the break-in and assault a second person was in the home.

Geordie Delmar James, 34 was arrested at Headingly Correctional Centre and charged for his alleged involvement with Manslaughter.

Police charged Ronald Bruce Chubb with Second Degree Murder on March 16, 2019 in connection to the killing.

Adam had been at home with his grandmother when a break-in occurred. When police arrived on scene the teen was being assaulted by an intruder. Officers shot the attacker in order for the violent attack to stop.

Adao was taken to hospital but died soon afterwards.
