Six rail cars hopped the track as a CN train moved through the area around Symington Road and Pleases Road Saturday morning.
There were no injuries reported in the mishap and according to CN no hazardous cargo was aboard any of the cars that left the tracks.
It is expected that the derailment will be cleared up winning a few hours.
